Master Classes
Sonny will be offering Master Classes in Summer 2012
(Age: 18 and older)

(Downtown location will be announced soon)

Sonny will be offering (2) three hour Master Class sessions. The sessions dates are forthcoming.  The first session will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. There will be a mandatory skills assessment for this session from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The second session will be from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. There will be a mandatory skills assessment for this session from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The cost of each session is $150.00.

Sonny is accepting the first 25 students who sign up for each Master Class!  

After the assessments, each player will be assigned to a group and will study with players at approximately the same skill level. There will be times when all participants will work together.

 The following topics of study will be covered during the sessions.

Study Focus
  1. Rudimental Studies
  2. Idiomatic Studies
  3. Basic Reading Concepts
  4. Linear Concepts
  5. Improvisational Studies/ Solo Development
  6. Metronome Studies/How to Practice
NOTE:     Due to the amount of material that will be given, Sonny and his assistant will be covering these concepts expeditiously. Therefore, we suggest that you come well prepared to take notes. There will be interactive sessions as well.
